“Wonderful Undersea World”
The exhibition is about work of the “Mir” submersible vehicles and little-studied areas of the World ocean with its special and unearthly life.

“The Famous Ships”
Unique graphical works by seascape painter E. Voishvillo are dedicated to the history of navy and scientific-research fleet: engravings of the ships of the first Russian travelers S. Dezhnev and F. Popov, majestic sail ships of I. Krusenstern and Y. Lisyanski and modern research ships.
Accompanied by:

“Lighthouses”
Watercolours by G. Chelak acquaint visitors with the most interesting old and new lighthouses; their history goes to ancient times connected with the development of seafaring.

“The Return to the Antarctic”
It is a story about the return of Russians to the Antarctic after 135 from its discovery, the First Soviet Antarctic Expedition of 1955 and work of the diesel motor ship Obbased in the Kaliningrad port.

“The Continental Seas: Aral and Baikal”
The exhibition is about the continental seas. One of them is dieing, it is the centre of global ecological catastrophe and the other one is in its flourishing.
Accompanied by:
lecture (20 min.);
practical class “The World of Water” (30 min.) for junior and secondary schoolchildren. Experiments are the basis.

“The Baltic Spit – Terra Incognito”
Photographs by S. Pokrovski acquaint with the most picturesque views of the Baltic spit and its secrets. During the class “Secrets of the Ocean” it is allowed to touch and hold rare museum items: corals, sea stars, stuffed animals and fish and exotic fruits collected on the shores of tropic seas.

practical class “Secrets of the Ocean” (30 min.). For junior and secondary school children.

“The Ten Nobelists”

The exhibition is about 10 Nobelists whose fortunes were more or less connected with Prussia and the Kaliningrad region.

“The City of My Soul”
Photographs by I. Korneluk acquaint with sceneries of Kaliningrad. Each photograph is accompanied by citations from the author’s book.
