The museum junior centre “Ocean” invites you to the annual ecological holidays for children and youth:

These days the museum organizers concerts of creative troops, school scientific conferences, quizzes, art exhibitions and contests for everybody – both for adults and children. You are invited to reveal your creativity, learn new things and share your knowledge! Information about coming events is on the “News” page.

Attention - Nature!

The annual action “For Clean Sea!” is traditionally timed to the International Day of the Sea, September 28. It is aimed at attracting society, government and private sector to the problem of sea preservation worldwide. The coast near Baltiisk, one of the most ecologically problematic place of the Kaliningrad region, has been a location place for several years. The museum is a coordinator and organizer of the action. Everybody is welcome to participate in the action. You can help by solving organizing matters or cleaning up beach.

Music is the Best Cure for Fatigue!

The museum organizes concerts timed to many national and museum holidays. Various music (Russian, foreign, modern and, of course, marine) flies from the scenes. Pupils and teachers of Children’s music schools and Kaliningrad Music College prepare concerts. Leading musicians also appear on the museum stage.
Kids can enjoy musical fairy-tales and performances: “The Snow Queen”, “Pinocchio”, “Chippolino” and “Cat’s House”. Kids and their parents are welcome!
The most mass musical holiday of the museum is Children’s festival contest “Sea, Hear Us”. The second regional festival contest is to be held in the the Museum of the World ocean on November 1-2, 2008. Everybody is welcome! We are looking forward to your applications!
The brand-new activity is so called lection-concerts. Lections of professional musicians and art critics are accompanied by films and life music. The best musicians from our region are invited to give such concerts.

Birthday in the Museum

Birthday at home? It is so trivial… Why not to celebrate it in the museum? You can! One whose name-day it is will become a commander of the submarine B-413, a captain of the legendary Vitiaz or even a leader of pirates. Together with friends you will explore sea depths and dwellers; go to autonomous navigation, move to the Epoch of the Great Discoveries and find treasures! Sweets and cakes – after navigation.
Audience: preschool and primary school children. Group up to 15 children. Price: 200 rubbles.
