The submarine B-413 is a unique museum vessel! The only submarine in the country and one of a few in the world which belongs to a preatomic period of submersible fleet. Moreover, it is preserved in original. Strong and light hulls, superstructures, all the main and auxiliary mechanisms, equipment and armament are the same as they used to be when the submarine belonged to the Navy. The submarine B-413 was built at the Novo-Admiralteisky shipyard in Leningrad. It was launched in September, 1968. From 1969 till 1999 it belonged to the Northern and the Baltic Fleet. In June, 2000, it was moored at the museum quay.
